Welcome to Namaste 37030. My studio is a therapy-based studio that offers a wide variety of class options based on your needs. I offer more of a holistic approach to wellness and healing.
I offer a full schedule of classes from Yogabarre, gentle vinyasa flow, restorative, Yin, SUP (standup paddle board -seasonal) yoga, chair yoga, Yoga Strength, Barre bootcamp, Tabata Barre, Basic Barre and all include specific work to meet your needs. If you don't see what you are looking for just ask. Whether you are looking for Sound and Mantra healing or Ayurveda guidance, I am sure I will have something that fits your needs. Aroma therapy is also available upon request.
Everyone is always welcome. My classes are for every body. Experience and flexibility are not required. Only warm hearts and beautiful souls.
COVID- We are in unprecedented times. I am a very strong advocate for COVID safety. I am a small studio that also very much appreciates your patronage. I would also appreciated your patience during this time. My environment will be arranged so that everyone can maintain adequate safe space during our practice. You will not be required to wear a mask during any of our practices (barre or yoga) as that it is not safe to raise your respiratory rate or heartrate with a mask on . However, if you choose to wear one into my studio, please feel free to do so. If you exhibit flu-like symptoms or have a fever above 100.4 please stay home. My studio has adequate circulation and ventilation, however due to COVID-19 we will not be allowed to use a fan. I will try my best to keep the room temperature comfortable, but just in case please layer your clothing for times like savasana. I have several things in place that are CDC compliant. Your safety is my main concern. I clean all surfaces as needed per the CDC and the studio is also maintained by a cleaning service. Other COVID instructions are part of your orientation to my studio. Cell phones- I will ask that you honor and respect the one hour practice for yourself and the others around you and if it is not an absolute emergency, please have your cell phone either off, silenced, or left in your vehicle.
Safety- No worries. All entrances/exits are closely monitored with live feed video surveillance. So you can close your eyes (if meditating), rest easy, and consider yourself in a safe space to grow in your own personal practice.
Also for safety, in case of emergency, there are 2 doors and 2 windows as exits from the studio.
My studio is a loft studio which has stairs to enter. I do not want this to keep anyone from yoga that has the desire. If there is a reason that the stairs causes you to not be able to attend a class, please PM me and I will try to make another arrangement.
No late entries. The door locks at class time. Thank you in advance for you kind understanding. However, if these class times put you in a rush and don't work out for you please PM me and other class options may be added. I tried to keep all times the same for simplicity for everyone.
BARRE- EVERYONE over the age 16 according to guidelines are welcome. Barre is typically a female structured class, however males are welcome. Age 14-16 are welcome according to guidelines only with a parent or guardian. No one under the age 14 can attend barre at this time. Barre is intended for mature bones and mature muscles. We have to be concerned with growth plates under the age of 14. I hope you appreciate my concern for your child's safety.
Studio Photography- For your privacy and the sacredness of your practice, photos will not be posted on social media without your permission.
Dress Attire Yoga/Barre-Please just dress in whatever is comfortable for you.
SUP Attire- It is proper to have your trunk covered to practice on a SUP board. A board made for yoga has more traction area. When your body comes in contact with the board any delicate skin needs to be covered. I will be wearing swim shorts and a tank to teach SUP. When season opens, we will have several (open house) type sessions first before you have to commit to a class. I understand that a bikini may be cute to pose for a photo, but it is not cute when straddling a board or crawling back up on one. This will be a learning experience for all. New equipment is on the way!!!
Preparation- I have also had water rescue training and I am CPR certified.
Closures- If you decide to join me in my studio, we will not have classes on holidays or weekends (unless it is just a rare occasion). This is your time with your family and I with mine. I have options of things you can do that will make that time with your family more enjoyable. Remember ....
